Summer is finally on its way! Every winter we spend so much time imagining the warm and welcoming beaches, and the amazing bikini we get to wear in the hot season. But every year we find ourselves unprepared and we end up wondering where all our summer wardrobe has gone. There is the t-shirt that we don't wear anymore, or maybe the very expensive skirt bought last year that is now out of fashion. And perhaps, like every single year, we still have that dress which we don't see what we loved about it last summer. But luckily, some clothes are always a certainty: the beachwear outfits. Comfortable, light and "risky" colourful looks, but never too much. And voila, everyone is looking for the perfect look to wear on a relaxing day at the beach.
After so much love we got for our comfy silk home-wear garments, we recently released the Zanzibar Collection, a line of new beachwear outfits for summer 2021. The collection is inspired by the paradisiac African landscapes, the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean, and Zanzibar’s tropical climate.
Introducing a sustainable upcycled collection that will last. Three different beachwear outfits that can be mixed and matched, and will not overfill your travel bag.
First off - the Paje Beachwear Set in Leopard, the perfect beach accessory to wear on top of a bathing suit for a more eccentric and tropical-inspired style. This set of pants and shirt - with wide sleeves, pearl buttons and the matching pants with elastic top - mix and match pieces with shorts or other shirts for a more casual look.
While, if you want to keep Flair style and wear a fresh and easy beach outfit, the Jambiani Beach Robe is the ultimate choice. This long sleeve shirt with pearl buttons, the matching belt and the leopard print represent the style of the island and give a fresh summer touch to your look.
On a different note, the Kendwa Beachwear Set opts for a more classic touch. The white colour choice is inspired by the island's crystal waters and wants to blend with the timeless and minimal Scandinavian style.
These three pieces of the Zanzibar collection are perfect combined with other looks and used on different occasions besides the beach. Indeed, among the core values at the base of our production is multifunctionality. Wearing the same garments for different occasions is at the basis of the sustainable red line we follow.

Unlike our core collections made of pure silk, the Zanzibar collection is made using high-quality non-wrinkle upcycled polyester, keeping your garment looking great even after a splash of seawater.
